Demolition of Harkat Ruling

Okay. I am posting something today. It's Toronto Action for Social Change's critique of the Harkat ruling upholding his security certificate arrest for being a danger to the public. Read the whole thing please. This is important:

"Harkat Condemned by Secret Allegations."

It's an excellent critique.

Sadly, too few people care. Similar attitude as was show for Khadr and all other post-9-11 "terrorists". The justice system for them is guilty until proven innocent with very little chance to do so.

And shame on all the opposition parties who fail to see this discrimination and threat to all our civil liberties, not just the brown people because if Harper has his way, he will undo our justice system to ensure he fills up his new jails.

For some reason I found that PARTICULARLY eloquent.

Forget the Liberals, they're hopeless. They're part of the problem. The two parties chosen by the majority of the people who vote are part of the fucking problem.

Thank you for reminding me, thwap. I've been so distracted, but I will catch up, and I agree with you -- we have to keep going.
