My kids had a snake for a couple years, and the damned thing would get loose and wander the house for days before hunger would bring it out into the open. It was a smallish (>5') boa constrictor, but I did not like that thing in the least. Imagine the thrill when making coffee at 4 a.m. and, while pouring, seeing the snake up on the counter, less than a foot from my cup! GaaAAAAAA!
Um, yeah...The Siren's Chronicles. Very nice group of people there. I'm supposed to be posting articles for them, but I've been in a real down period, depression-wise, and I can't just whip it out for some reason, which is why I turned down other offers before this; I'm not exactly dependable. Dusty, the Admin at Sirens, is an angel who lets me send her e-mail missives, which she formats and posts for me, so only she knows that I'm a nutjob! I do better with smart-assery on other's blogs, anyway.
I used to hang around on rabble.ca's "babble" until May, 2006, and, since then, I've been found at www.enmasse.ca and www.breadnroses.ca. Even more lately, I've been at EnMasse, but also numerous blogs from the progressive side.
I'm sometimes rude to people and I've been accused of "schoolyard taunts," so, here's my schoolyard.

Hey dude. Notice you hang out at some place called "Sirens" or something.
Guess I'll add it to me old blog-roll.
I think that picture's photo-shopped.
I sincerely hope it is 'shopped! Yikes!
