Online Petition For Public Inquiry Into Torture

Pursuant to the goal of bringing accountability and the rule of law to Canada, and starting the process of getting the harpercons into the prison cells they're inevitably going to be thrown into, Alison at Creekside has a link to an online petition for a public inquiry into torture.

Please sign it and send it.

It's a good idea, but in this day and age, and with this government, signing this petition might just get a person onto a "list". If you know what I mean.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you :)

Thanks for posting that petition, Thwap. I just signed it.

double nickel,

I know what you mean. But that sort of fear is the sort of thing that we, as citizens, must shake-off. We must also destroy the power that would presume to limit what we say and write.

CK,

I'm glad that my posting about it actually had an impact!

Thanks!
