Another Dismal Election

Who is it going to be? The pro-corporate, pro-Tar Sands, pro-imperialism, pro-austerity, pro-inequality, pro-etcetera-lots of bad things Liberals?

Or the pro-corporate, pro-Tar Sands, pro-imperialism, pro-austerity, pro-inequality, pro-racist, homophobic, christo-fascist Conservatives?

Or the semi-pro-corporate, pro-Fracking, semi-pro-imperialism, excluded by our electoral system NDP?

Or the pro-corporate, pro-Tar Sands Greens?

Or the racist fuckwads of shit-head Maxime Bernier's Canadian National Socialist Party?

Let's face it; these parties are representative of just how fucked our society is. We're dominated by capitalism, which at its base is an inhuman system. We're a society based upon the theft of Native lands. We're a cultural and economic colony of the USA. (At least English Canada is, culturally.) And, there's a lot of stupid, or ignorant, or both people in this country. Racist, deluded, hypocritical, selfish.

Perhaps all those activists who don't care for electoral politics are right. Perhaps their extra-parliamentary marches, demos, forums, websites, actions, etc., are the way to go. Except for the fact that they've shown themselves to be pretty much useless. Occasionally every party but the Conservatives (and sometimes even the Conservatives) feel obliged to mouth words to make people feel good about them. But does anything ever really change? There are some limits on the depredations of the oligarchy, but will it be enough to stave off the ecological nightmare that is looming over us?

I think we need to articulate a clear, achievable vision for this country. One that speaks to individuals' self-interests while also putting a halt to our more insane, destructive behaviour. And this must be accompanied by a clear plan for how to get there. Everything else is just spinning wheels.

Simon and Jackie Go Crazy

So, I visited Montreal Simon to read his latest post, which was a condemnation of the Scheer Conservatives and their fans who are bringing USA-Repugnican style hatred and violent rhetoric up here. It started off well with a picture of some sub-literate right-wing moron holding up this ridiculous (and frightening) hand-made sign:

I've said on numerous occasions that stupid people must have the same right to vote as non-stupid people. But there needs to be gatekeepers to prevent the rise of stupid ideas and rage-fueled political movements from having any prominence greater than the level of three city blocks. Alas, for reasons of selfish cynicism our media and corporate elites see fit to pander to these cretins and stir them up. As well (who's kidding who?) from their own behaviour and the words that flow from their mouths, pens, pencils, keyboards, many among our elites aren't all that intelligent either.

Montreal Simon goes from trashing right-wing assholes calling for Trudeau to be "hung" (or run over by a truck) for taxing them, for verbally acknowledging global warming, for admitting Syrian refugees, for marching in PRIDE parades, and etc., ... where was I? .... Oh yeah, ... Simon goes from condemning those assholes to conflating them with progressives who yell at him for buying the TMX pipeline (so as to bail-out the Bay Street parasites who invested in that bitumen project) and praises Trudeau for asking his supporters (booing the guy) for tolerance as he lets his security drag the man away.

Immediately afterwards Simon mentions a guy who threw an egg at Trudeau during a climate march in Montreal, but it's unclear from the Global News video what that guy's agenda was. Personally, I've never gotten too incensed about ordinary people throwing pies (or, now, eggs) in the faces of politicians.

"What if that pie/egg had been a gun or a bomb or a knife?!?"

Yeah. But you're missing the important point that it wasn't a gun or a bomb or a knife. It was a cream-pie/egg. You could just as well shriek that the hand of someone extended for a handshake could have been holding a gun. But it wasn't. The person sticking their hand out to a passing politician just wants a handshake. Just as the person with the pie wants to make a statement and not kill anybody.

Simon then starts his spiel about how Justin Trudeau is the most activist politician fighting climate change EVAH!!!! because of his carbon tax and his investments in renewable energy industries. But, if Simon were honest (or not honestly ignorant) he would know that this is mere tinkering and that it is all cancelled-out by his continuing to develop the Tar Sands. Which is par for the course for a liberal politician. They're the masters n' mistresses of using empty words to gull their deluded followers. They "feel your pain." They "want to see all people rise to their full potential." They "don't want to see anyone left behind." They say the things we want to hear in order to get elected and continue to say those things as they enact policies that contradict their flowery words.

The end result of political cowardice and deliberate deceit by politicians like Justin Trudeau is going to be the extinction of most of the earth's life-forms. It will AT LEAST mean the deaths of tens of millions of people. Given this, it was justified for that protester to yell at Trudeau for his sickening devotion to the TMX pipeline. And it is the height of stupidity to conflate environmentalists with legitimate grievances with Islamophobic, racist, right-wing homophobic shit-heads threatening all their adversaries with murder. (Notice how that protester at the Liberal rally stayed right where he was and didn't make a step towards Trudeau.)

And, of course, the first "commentor" was Simon's in-all-but-name co-blogger "Jackie Blue." I haven't (and won't) read her entire densely-packed, extended comment. But she basically says that leftist "shit-disturbers" are as big a threat (to "rational centrists") as right-wingers. Now, given the evidence from Simon's own post, anyone not an idiot can see that isn't true. She then goes on to whine about the progressives who didn't vote for mass-murderess, corrupt scumbag Hillary Clinton. Because "Jackie Blue" continues with the bullshit story that she's a US-American and she continues with the bullshit belief that Hillary Clinton wasn't a murdering scumbag.

Hillary Clinton voted for the Iraq War you stupid fuck! She voted for a war based on obvious stupid lies. The war she voted for has KILLED ONE MILLION IRAQIS and maimed and traumatized millions more. And that's only one of her colossal "mistakes" that she made while servicing the oligarchy and becoming a multi-millionaire herself. And it was Hillary's own sense of entitlement that led her to rig the Democratic primary to defeat Bernie Sanders and thereby bring on the presidency of Donald Trump. Hillary gave us Trump you imbecile!

As a species, we have to do the hard work of overthrowing his rotten, inhuman, ecocidal system. And the longer that (mostly decent-minded) people like Montreal Simon pledge hysterical allegiance to hucksters like Liberals, the longer (and perhaps TOO LATE) will it take to start that job in earnest.

(I'll end by saying that I probably won't be voting. My riding is a contest between the Libs and the Cons. And, from reading this article, I'm pretty much deflated about my choices anyway.)

Why I Won't Be Voting Conservative

Are you fucking nuts? Yesterday's post about the stinkyness of the Liberals in no way, shape, or form, means that I'd actually consider voting for the troglodytes of the Conservative Party.  Those idiots blurt out one racist statement or policy after another, deny that such a thing as racism exists (unless it's anti-white racism, which a google search turned-up a treasure-trove of examples of), and then shriek about the racism of others, whether real or imagined. They praise themselves to High Heaven for their love and devotion and creaming of themselves over "THE TROOPS" and then shit all over them when they get injured or traumatized from combat. They proudly advertise their ignorance, delusion and enslavement by the fossil fuels industry in denying global warming. They're the biggest hypocrites, the biggest morons, the most shameless grifters, the most pathetic sexual spastics, the most callous, arrogant, selfish rich fucks. The most deluded, scammed chumps.

They totally debased themselves under stephen pants-pissing-coward harper, when they violated EVERY SINGLE PRINCIPLE of parliamentary government. From denying Parliament information it was entitled to. To sabotaging the work of committees. To refusing summonses. To altering documents. To brazen lying in Parliament. To stealing elections through fraud.

The fact that this group of scum is still viable is an indictment of our entire society. Especially of our media. Especially the corporate, oligarchic newsletter the Globe & Mail. Who go out of their way to attempt to humanize and normalize these human abominations. But what can you expect from a newspaper that kept that lazy, lying, plagiarizing bitch Margaret Wente on its editorial page for decades? And which recently recently gave racist grifter Ezra Levant space on that page as well?

No. There is no way in hell that I would ever consider voting for such garbage. In fact, the last federal and provincial elections I voted Liberal in my riding because it is only a two-way race between the Liberals and the Conservatives here.

The fact that I will never vote Liberal again will never mean that I'd vote for the monstrosity of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Why I Won't Be Voting Liberal

It ain't because of the black face. That was just evidence of Justin being a moron. Trudeau didn't come from great wealth, but his father was enough of a political legend in Canada that his son no doubt enjoyed enormous inherited prestige, which, together with his material comfort and his astonishing good lucks, gave him the cluelessness of privilege to think that putting on black (or brown) face make-up was a good idea at the age of 29 in 1999. Deep down, I think Trudeau is probably a nice guy. A lot of people with his looks and wealth could have turned out to be complete assholes. I'm pretty sure Justin was no Brett Kavanaugh for instance. But it's also evidence of his limitations. If Trudeau had more brains he would have become more than a high school drama teacher what with all the privileges he started out with. As a Liberal politician he's not done much more than pull back from the Conservatives' paleolithic policies and enforce his own party's status-quo of colonialism, ecocide and neo-liberal cruelty.

No. I won't be voting Liberal for other reasons. First, because of the betrayal of the majority of Canadians who want electoral reform. This includes the AT LEAST thirty percent of us who are effectively disenfranchised because we don't like either the Liberals or the Conservatives. Many of us would prefer to support the NDP or the Greens but since we're a minority in most ridings, we either feel pressured to vote Liberal to prevent the victory of a Conservative troglodyte, or we don't vote because it's a waste of time, or we do vote for our preferred party out of some quixotic sense of civic duty. Trudeau had (and obviously still has) a rock-solid majority. He could have pushed through some sort of electoral reform but chose not to.

Those fucking Liberal hacks are now shrieking about how dangerous and destructive a Conservative government would be. It would be funny if it wasn't infuriating. Why in the sweet name of Gawd's shit are you so terrified of the horrors that a Conservative government (especially a majority government) could bring when you consciously chose not to prevent it when you had the chance?!? And now you want to guilt us into voting for you to avoid the situation that you are responsible for having allowed to continue? Fuck you.

This is because Canada's oligarchic ruling class wouldn't want him to and because his majority made all Liberals remember the benefits of the first-past-the-post system wherein with less than 50% of the electorate they can have 100% control over policy. But really, it was down to the oligarchy (a few of whom occasionally descend into the political sphere to keep an eye on things, like Bill Morneau or Nigel Wright) who prefer to keep politics within the control of their two vehicles, the Liberals and the Conservatives.

So, Liberal shills; you can shriek all you want about the dangers of a Conservative/Scheer victory. It falls on deaf ears. This is a problem of your own making so shove your hands up your asses and jerk-off your own shit.

The second reason I won't be voting Liberal is because of their loathsome, slimy, titanic hypocrisy on global warming. At least with the Conservatives you understand that they're complete idiots and obvious whores to the fossil-fuels industry. Trudeau was able to convince David Suzuki that he was serious about addressing climate change when he was only lying to him. Liberals seem to be able to win and keep their voting base's loyalty by merely mouthing the right words without having to do anything serious with regards to practical actions. (Not that I think the NDP is being particularly different. Or the Greens. Canada's political parties, like the society they come from is marked by delusion and cowardice. The reality of global warming is terrifying. It's real. The predictions of the climatologists and other scientists have be borne out again and again. The ice caps are melting. The oceans have reached their limits as a "sink" for increased heat. And we're still selling cars. Practicing destructive agricultural policies. Producing vast mountains of non-biodegradable junk. Burning fossil fuels in increasing amounts. And whining about the costs of environmental policies. Trudeau's duplicity and hypocrisy and cowardice remove him from my list of credible political leaders.

Third is the Liberals' failures in respecting the rights of the First Nations. Connected to global warming and the issue of the Liberals' slavish servitude to the fossil fuels industry, Trudeau's Liberals violate their professed desire to respect the Treaty rights of the First Nations communities by putting pipelines through their lands after the same sort of bullshit "consultation" process that the Conservatives did. Again, at least with the Conservatives you know where they stand. This is not necessarily because of the Conservatives' honesty. It's just that their racist contempt for the First Nations is so obvious that their occasional attempts to mask it are so unconvincing. Trudeau's promise to finally do something about Canada's decades-long violation of First Nations people's rights to clean water. And while some investments have been made they are nowhere near the $4 billion his government spent to buy an old pipeline to ship ecocidal bitumen to the west coast. While some Native reserves have gotten new water treatment facilities, other communities systems have broken down. Overall the situation remains intolerable.

For the record, about a year ago, on the site of hysterical Liberal shill Montreal Simon, a commenter purporting to be First Nations said that they wouldn't vote Liberal because of their constant betrayals on this issue. At that point, Simon's co-blogger in all but name, the rancid "Jackie Blue" basically said that Liberals are the best the First Nations can ever hope to get, so suck it up buttercup. I really have to state that I think "Jackie Blue" is a paid Liberal operative. Her claims to be a US-American really are laughable. Supposedly she's a US-American Hillary Clinton supporter and she is enraged at the "purity ponies" who didn't vote for that loathsome piece of shit. That mass-murderer, oligarchic monster. And so, being a US-American, she's a constant presence in the comments section of a Canadian blog that serves as a shameless apologist for the Liberals and focuses solely on the crimes of the Canadian right-wing.

Finally, I refuse to vote Liberal because of their horrible foreign policy. That picture is of Foreign Affairs Minister Crystia Freeland. Notice the sign on the podium: "Democracy for Venezuela." That's the "Lima Group" of Western Hemisphere lapdogs of the USA trying to topple the social-democratic government of Venezuela. Because Crystia Freeland (who goes into a spittle-flecked rage when you remind her that her grandfather was a Jew-hating Nazi collaborator) is soooooo concerned about human rights and democracy in Venezuela that she has aligned herself with the fraudulently elected president of Honduras (who murders trade union and environmental activists); the corrupt, narco-government of Colombia (which murders more trade union activists per capita than any other country in the world, as well as hundreds of peasants every year), the super-corrupt, anti-indigeneous, quasi-fascist, fraudulently-elected president of Brazil, and some other US puppets, to try to impose a coup in that country.  And when that didn't work, they simply impose deadly starvation sanctions and theft of Venezuela's overseas resources in income.

It's curious, given Freeland's anti-Semitic ancestry, that Canada's government is such a slavish defender of Israeli barbarism against the Palestinians. But, obviously, as criticizing Israel when it incarcerates and tortures Palestinian children isn't "anti-Semitism" neither is toadying along with the USA's support for a regional watchdog in the oil-rich Middle East evidence of NOT being an anti-Semite. For instance, many US-American Evangelical Christians support Israel because they believe that Israel's existence is necessary for the fulfillment of the nutbar prophesies in the Book of Revelations, wherein Israel must become a 100% Jewish state, the Battle of Armageddon will bring about the Second Coming of Christ, the forces of the anti-Christ will be defeated on the Plain of Meddigo (sp?) and then Jesus will slaughter all the Jews who don't convert to Christianity in punishment for their having crucified him. Yes. This intellectual garbage is what influences the geo-politics of the world's hegemon super-power. Vice President Pence genuinely believes in this insanity. And Freeland and Trudeau are more than happy to eat Zionist's shit to demonstrate their loyalty to these scum-bags.

The most sickening evidence of the Trudeau Liberals' rotten foreign policy is their moral cowardice towards Saudi Arabia. When the insane, fat, tub of filth, Clown Prince Mohammed bin-Bone-Saw went apeshit over a Pro Forma statement from Freeland expressing concern over that needle-dicked rapist's abuse of Saudi women's rights activists, the Trudeau government responded like a whipped cur. Even though, as a country, we could slap the shit out of Saudi Arabia. Disgustingly, Trudeau continues to kiss the fat, hairy, blotching, shit-smeared ass of Donald Trump, who (when not insulting Trudeau) says that Canada and Saudi Arabia are equals in the USA's eyes.

[That's right. Once again: Canada fought together with the USA in World War I. We landed beside them at Normandy in 1944. We fought together in Korea. Only recently our soldiers have fought and died beside them in Afghanistan. We share the world's longest undefended border with them. We share a language, a political heritage of representative democracy. Canadians and US-Americans are as close to being "friends" as peoples from different countries can expect to be. But we count just as much as a dictatorial, terrorist-supporting, super-corrupt, religiously hypocritical regime run by a psychopath.]

And, even worse than all of this, Trudeau is quite happy to sell Saudi Arabia weapons while it conducts an illegal war against the impoverished country of Yemen. Saudi Arabia is deliberately murdering civilians with air-strikes and policies of blockade and starvation that have put TEN MILLION PEOPLE at risk of death by starvation. This is inhuman. Inexcusable. Unforgivable. Evil and Wrong.

The Trudeau Liberals are too vile and loathsome for me to vote for. Or even touch them with a ten-mile pole.

The People Who Rule Us

[NOTE: I'VE BEEN BUSY AND THIS ESSAY IS TURNING OUT TO BE QUITE LONG. SO I'LL POST IT UNFINISHED AND RETURN TO ADD MORE FROM TIME-TO-TIME, WHILE ALSO POSTING OTHER THINGS. SO CALM DOWN HUMANITY.]

In an earlier post I riffed on the possible psychological afflictions of Doug Ford as well as the general sorts of people who aspire to and reach high levels of power in our societies. In general, these are people who find it a challenge to decide between a health care system that lets people get medical attention without bankrupting themselves, or a system that bankrupts (in the USA) around 300,000 people a year while letting 45,000 people simply die because they lack health insurance, but which richly rewards a small number of parasites in the for-profit health care system. In the case of Doug Ford (who clearly wants to bring the Hell of for-profit, privatized health care to Ontario) I speculated about the possibly abusive nature of his daddy's household  that produced a gaggle of hopeless drug addicts excepting Doug who appears to be a sociopathic bully. Doug Ford wants to subject Ontarians to what millions of US-Americans suffer through (even the US health insurance industry itself admits to the inferior outcomes of their health care system). He does this but he still wants people to like him and seems genuinely put-out when they do not.

Like many conservatives, Doug Ford lacks empathy. Empathy is probably generated from within the brain. (I'm guessing.) Conservatives lack a lot of things that originate with the brain. The overall product of these deficiencies is a monstrosity that is generally referred to as "stupidity." Greedy, selfish, fearful, bigoted, ignorant, callous, hypocritical, etc.

Now, I know that conservatives (or right-wingers) often say the same things about progressives (or left-wingers). I see the sidebar on my YouTube occasionally showing some right-wing online celebrity "destroying" a "SJW" ("social justice warrior") or a "libtard." Just like I'm doing now, people on the right-wing say that they're the adults in the room and that we on the left-wing are the mentally deficient monstrosities. Non-political types would probably look upon this mud-flinging with scorn if not for the fact that they're all busy watching "Temptation Island/Love Island/The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Are You The One/Survivor or whatever the hell else stupid shit they're watching.

So fuck them.

Let's play this out. In Canada there are two sides to the global warming debate. There is the side that believes that global warming is real and that it is caused by humanity's constant burning of fossil fuels in increasing amounts since the Industrial Revolution. Then there is the side that believes that global warming is not happening but if it is happening it is not caused by human activity but is the result of solar activity or just the natural variations of the Earth's climate. (But it still might be a hoax, perpetrated by shameless liberals lusting after wealth and power, or, if not liberals, perhaps by the inscrutable Chinese.) This former side tends to be populated by progressives/left-wingers while the latter is mainly inhabited by conservatives/right-wingers.

This is a deadly serious subject because if the proponents of human-caused global warming are correct, the continued emissions of greenhouse gases will overload the planet's absorptive capacities (such as the oceans) and this will result in murderous heatwaves, droughts, food shortages and starvation, gigantic refugee crises, mass extinctions; the heating of the oceans will kill coral and other sea-life; sea-levels will rise producing massive flooding of coastal areas and the forced mass migrations of millions more refugees; the arctic permafrost will melt and methane (a more powerful greenhouse gas) will be released, belching into the atmosphere and then it's game-over for humanity.

But, since it's human caused, we humans had the capability to take steps to prevent or mitigate it. We did not and are not doing so. And so we will all die. (I've tried, lord knows I've tried, to steer progressives into taking action on a number of issues, only to be met with bovine incomprehension or some inexplicable mental blocks that prevent people from being able to differentiate between immobility and action. So, for me, I'm just passing the time on my blog and on other things until life on this planet becomes unviable.)

So, for instance, the subject in the title of this post. "The People Who Rule Us." Since 2017 (if not earlier) I've been trying to convey the utter inhumanity of our prevailing political-economic system and the psychopaths who preside over it. This includes so-called "moderates" like Barack Obama (he of the "kill lists," he of the "we tortured some folks" insanity; he who bailed out the Wall Street criminals while allowing their victims to be fleeced and who orchestrated the destruction of the protest movement that arose in response to that) and Hillary Clinton (who really did want to get into a shooting war with Russia and perhaps thereby bring about nuclear Armageddon) and Justin Trudeau (who appears to have an intellectual grasp of the reality of global warming but fails completely when it comes to the morality and the courage to do anything about it).

None of these people are our friends. They are our enemies. Because we live in an oligarchy. A selfish, greedy, incompetent, inhuman, destructive, immoral oligarchy. And, when all is said and done, they serve the oligarchs before they do anything for us. And the longer we pretend that is not the case the more we will be abused and the sooner the nightmare scenario of global heating and mass extinctions will be upon us.

Nonetheless, it seems to be the case that the most vile examples of our ruling classes come from the "right" or "conservative" side of the political spectrum. As I said in this lengthy post, self-identified conservatives are statistically more likely to be fearful and paranoid. They tend to fixate more upon negatives (threats) than non-conservatives do. They lack empathy. And, on top of those handicaps, they tend to be less intelligent than the rest of the population. (Which is why they exhibit fear and paranoia.)

A normal person (think of the apolitical types I also described at the last link) will grow up in society and recognize the rules of the game and apply those rules to their own circumstances, recognize incongruities between the way society is alleged to work with how they see it actually operating (as well as where these alleged rules conflict with their own self-interest) and make their life choices accordingly.

A self-described conservative will (in general) labour mightily to try to understand the world they've been dropped into. This will be tend to be more difficult for them than for normal people because (as I said) conservatives tend to be less intelligent, have less ability to empathize (and thereby read the signals for proper behaviour) and (for whatever reasons) will be more fearful and defensive towards the outside world. Once they have achieved a grasp of the rules of the game they will hold fast to these rules with all their might. Capitalism is the dominant paradigm? Then capitalism it is. No matter what. And everyone who questions or rejects it is an enemy. They've been brought up in a particular religion? Then that religion is the truth and that's the end of the story. (Such devotion can provide a lot of comfort to such people.) And on it goes; they adhere to traditional gender stereotypes and sexual mores. With cultural pursuits, they'll tend to flock in large numbers to things that represent this most crude understanding of the society they live in. Things such as professional wrestling wherein cartoonish representations of gender ideals, the conflict between "good" and "evil," and etc., portray conventional values but with an acknowledgement of the overall stupidity of its fan base.

One particularly newsworthy example of this enthusiasm for shit-head culture is their love and devotion for the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. He's male. He's white. He's tall. He's famous. He's rich. He used to be sort of good-looking. He fucked hot women. He's racist. He "tells it like it is." In short, all the things they've convinced themselves is the way the world is or ought to be.

I'll say one thing for Democratic Party shill "Driftglass": While he's lamentably blind or indifferent to the noxious nature of his own political party, he is nonetheless right in stating that the leadership of the Republican Party (and corporate hegemons generally) have worked very hard at making their grassroots come to be a festering shit-pile of the dregs of the population. You couldn't see Theodore Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover or Dwight Eisenhower pandering to these idiots. Even Richard Nixon (with his "Southern Strategy") was only trying to obtain a solid geographical voting bloc that used to belong to the Democratic Party and which was now in play because of the Civil Rights Act. Nixon founded the Environmental Protection Agency, had a sophisticated (if immoral) grasp of geo-politics, and surrounded himself with intelligent lieutenants. The true decline of the mental and moral fibre of the Republican Party starts with the rise of the vacuous Ronald Reagan and the elevation of proud ignorance and empty symbolism over substance. It fell several notches more with the installation of the contemptible George W. Bush to serve as a figurehead while corrupt psychopaths Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld implemented wholesale looting and mayhem as policy.

Culturally, the Republican Party was assisted by right-wing propagandists (and degenerates) like Rush Limbaugh and FOX News. The former is a right-wing Talk Radio host (with a face that was simply made for the job) who espouses the sort of crude worldview that conservatives cling to, while throwing in his own personal attributes of prurient obsessions, total individual hypocrisy, and titanic selfishness. The latter is a news network founded and run by men cut from the same cloth as Limbaugh in every way and which features such shameless lying ignoramuses as Sean Hannity (and a whole slew of lesser entities who act as show hosts and regular commentators) and whose biggest "star" used to be the lazy, stupid bully Bill O'Reilly, until his serial sexual depredations became too well known and expensive to cover up. (The same thing happened to the network's manager Roger Ailes.)

Concomitantly, the female hosts and announcers at FOX News tend to be young, shapely (usually blond and white) who are almost always dressed in tight mini-dresses and high heels. Since this is a patriarchal society and since FOX News represents the most crude ideas of patriarchy, these women endured (and probably still endure) an environment of the most blatant sexism. Being "conservatives" these women also condemned feminism for being the creation of tiresome, ugly, unpatriotic lesbians. That is until other female celebrities elsewhere began to rise-up against some of the worst sexist behaviour of male bosses and colleagues in the "MeToo" movement. Then the FOX News ladies began to speak out against its extremely sexist environment and were able to obtain some justice while compartmentalizing this instance of the uses of feminism from the rest of that worldview and carrying on celebrating the culture of racism and pro-rich class warfare and US imperialism that the network espouses.

This compartmentalization of values is another way to describe the hypocrisy of conservatives. To be a  true hypocrite one has to fully realize and acknowledge the disconnect between what you preach and what you're practicing. For many conservatives though, there is often an inability to fully grasp the extent of these discrepancies. Mostly because they're stupid. The women at FOX News are at least getting to have well-paying careers that give them a fair degree of fame and some degree of power. Still, they remain essentially oblivious to how sexist abuse is part-and-parcel of the worldview they embrace and how their own selfish use of the tools provided by leftist pinko traitors (such as man-hating lesbian feminist bitches) only invalidates their other beliefs (minorities should stop complaining, poor people should work harder, refugees should go back to where they came from, etcetera).

While these FOX News women at least have the monetary and status compensations for subjecting themselves to Roger Ailes trying to seduce them. What does some right-wing working-class shlub who claims to be a "Christian" get for ignoring that their hero, Donald Trump, is a multi-millionaire conman, who stiffs working people, hires undocumented aliens, openly lusts after his daughter, admits to groping women, commits adultery, is a multiple divorcé, is credibly accused of rape, is demonstrably anti-Christian (look up "Mammon"), and several other things that violate a conservative's supposed morality? They get nothing other than a validation of the other values they cling to (patriarchy, capitalism, sexism, racism). As I said, they struggle through their mental limitations to learn the rules of their society. They absorb only the most laughably crude stereotypes (probably because they appeal to them on a visceral level) and they either ignore or don't notice the inconsistencies between within their sets of values (or between their professed values and their own behaviour) because they're stupid.
