First of all, it seems that the primary reason for the Hamas attacks was to sabotage the Israel-Saudi Arabia deal being orchestrated by the Biden administration. Because it's so important for the future of humanity that Zionist assholes and the loathsome House of Saud support each other and the United States to continue to exploit the peoples of the world in the name of capitalism.
I'm sure the US-American people would love to go to war to defend the House of Saud in the security agreement the shit-head Biden is proposing as part of a desperate effort to recover the USA's leadership role in the Middle East (which has been a catastrophe by the way) after the surprising Saudi-Iranian diplomatic thaw mediated by China.
(Saudi Arabia is no friend of the Biden administration. They are poking the USA because they would much rather have Donald Trump as president.)
Israeli war crimes, its decades-long apartheid policies, all are tolerated, nay, SUBSIDIZED by the US government because Israel helps [helped?] maintain US hegemony over this strategically vital area of the world. Obviously though, Israel is a separate country. It has its own agenda. Just like Pakistan does. Pakistan was seen as an imperfect ally for the USA in Central Asia and the CIA, State Department, Neo-Cons were prepared to tolerate the occasional problem thrown up by this separate agenda. Israel is increasingly governed by far-right, fanatical, brazenly racist, corrupt, stupid, monstrosities like Netanyahu.
Neither the USA elite's foreign policy goals, the disgusting House of Saud, Israel's racist Zionism, are worthy of the blood and treasure of ordinary US-Americans.
How did this latest crisis arise? As I said, Hamas was trying to sabotage a US-proposed Saudi-Israeli diplomatic agreement. Did Netanyahu and Israeli intelligence know about this? Hamas certainly didn't know there was going to be a rave party where they were going to attack. The location of a rave is given at the last minute by the organizers:
Egypt AND the USA are stating that they gave Israel warning that something was up. It's rumoured that weaponry sent to Ukraine to fight Russia was siphoned off and some of it got into the hands of Hamas. That's either a case of "blowback" or, given the tight control over Gaza's borders, ... I'm not generally a devotee of "false-flag" theories (although I don't deny that there have been false-flag actions throughout history) in this case I don't know what to believe.
By attaching aid to Ukraine to his aid to Israel bill, Biden is getting around the resistance of pro-Trump Congress critters.
Which brings me to my next point: As if the risk of nuclear war arising out of Biden's insane adventurism in Ukraine, and his insane provocations towards China, false-flag or not, Biden's hyper-support for Israel threatens to bring Hezbollah into the struggle. This would prove devastating to Israel. Israel with the nuclear weapons. Biden's sending of a carrier-group each to the Eastern Mediterranean and to the Persian Gulf makes them targets for Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi, and Iranian missiles. And both of those carrier groups are vulnerable to Russian missiles.
Israel and Biden are both itching to attack Iran. Iran doesn't want to get destroyed but it won't go down without a fight. Biden's trip to the Middle East was a disaster. The Arab autarchies have long been willing to cry crocodile tears for the Palestinians in order to preserve themselves and their privileges within the US-dominated "rules-based international order" but Israel's wholesale slaughter has turned even their stomachs. The king of Jordan even refused to meet with the senile, corrupt, narcissistic, stupid Biden.
Rather than trying to restrain Israel, Biden and Blinken and the whole goddamned coterie of neo-con shitheads are egging them on and looking for further targets they think they can slap into line. And why wouldn't they? They continue to live in their bubbles. They write their stupid articles and they scheme their stupid schemes and they dine in nice Washington D.C. restaurants and drink quality wines and expensive whiskeys in their lovely restored townhouses and they never feel so much as the pain of a wood splinter as a result of their deranged policies.
But not even their bubbles of delusion and privilege will protect them from very real nuclear weapons.
