It seems that some Israeli hooligans provoked a riot in Amsterdam with their obnoxious behaviour. (Tearing Palestinian flags from private residences/chanting "Death to Arabs!"/jeering during a moment of silence for the victims of flooding in Spain.) They were fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv that was in Amsterdam to lose to Ajax Amsterdam 5-0.
Minor riots with Maccabi fans actually took place on two nights. On the night of the 6th to 7th November, a day before a game against Ajax Amsterdam, hooligan soccer fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv, presumably under Mossad 'protection', teared down Palestinian flags from private Dutch dwellings (video) and attacked Dutch taxi drivers of Arab descent:

Israeli football hooligans tore down Palestine flags as they marched through Amsterdam in a Wednesday night of chaos ahead of Maccabi Tel Aviv's visit to Ajax.Videos show dozens of hooded figures dressed fully in black cheering and chanting 'f*** you Palestine' and 'ole' as one climbed halfway up the front of a building and removed a flag on the Rokin, a major street.
Footage also shows one thug thumping a taxi with crowbar before the driver takes off, while there have been reported clashes between the visiting hooligans and cabbies.

On the evening of November 7 Maccabi Tel Aviv lost its game against Ajax Amsterdam. Ajax won 5 to 0.
Before the game a minute of silence was asked for victims of flooding in Spain. The Mossad directed Maccabi hooligans ignored it.
After the game more scuffles and riots reportedly happened. But this time the Zionist hooligans were apparently in a minority against a group of pro-Palestinian Ajax fans and had to flee to their hotels.

The New York Times ran a story with the headline “Antisemitic Attacks Prompt Emergency Flights for Israeli Soccer Fans”. The Wall Street Journal ran with “Antisemitic Attacks in Amsterdam Prompt Tight Security at Jewish Sites”. “Pogroms have returned to Europe, and the ‘anti-racist’ Left are silent,” says The Telegraph.
Meanwhile the Daily Mail sports section ran with a headline more in line with what people actually saw: “Israeli football hooligans tear down Palestine flags in Amsterdam as taxi drivers ‘fight back’ in night of chaos ahead of Maccabi Tel Aviv’s visit to Ajax”.
Leaders of western nations like the US, UK, Canada and France joined the Dutch king in framing these soccer brawls and hooliganism as a historic mass-scale hate crime against Jews, while Israeli officials have been melodramatically shrieking like their hair is on fire.

The news out of Amsterdam last night is horrifying. This is a dark moment for our world — and one we have seen before. My heart goes out to the victims, and the entire Jewish community today. Canada condemns this disgusting antisemitism.
This is insane. "A dark moment for our world." If Russia is being barred from international events and sanctioned for defending itself from NATO, then Israel should likewise be banned. Israel's slaughter of the Palestinians, it's GENOCIDE of the Palestinians is the "dark moment for our world," not a bunch of racist Israeli nazis bringing violence upon themselves.
Do they really believe this garbage? Do shit-heads like Trudeau really live in a bubble where such a lunatic view of the world is the norm? Or is he saying such nonsense while not believing it? Perhaps he's a cynical psychopath? Perhaps he's being blackmailed? Perhaps he's so shallow he doesn't grasp the enormity of the lies he's been ordered to speak?
Regardless, what he said is insane and the fact that he thought it was safe to say it is an indictment of our entire civilization.
Speaking of our civilization: The USA just had an election where BOTH of the contenders supported a GENOCIDE. They both spoke openly about their support for an Israel that admits to desiring to expel the Palestinian people from Israel through bombing, terror, pogroms, mass starvation and then openly sets about doing that and posting videos for the world to see of them smiling as they murder innocent men, women and children.
But the wealthy, white male socially conservative patriarch defeated the wealthy, semi-liberal woman of colour. The wealthy, semi-liberal woman was the Democratic Party candidate. This party is portrayed by the Trump Party as "communist" and "Marxist." The political-economic knowledge of these people is so poor that they imagine that anyone who acknowledges the reality of global warming and makes even token moves to confront it, any party that acknowledges the reality of racism in US history and makes any attempt to ameliorate as being hateful and discriminatory against white people. That's just two of the subjects upon which these people show themselves to be idiots. [Left and Right wingers have both created shit-head theories about the COVID pandemic, but to be fair, it seems that the bulk of these reality-denying conspiracists are fascist-adjacent right-wingers.]
These Trump fans also hypocritically whine that the 2020 election was stolen from them. They appear conveniently blind to the multiple instances of their precious Republican Party's sabotage of the integrity of the US-American electoral process. I haven't looked very hard into their claims about 2020 because I don't care all that much due to my hatred of both the Democratic and Republican wings of the duopoly. Due to my contempt for the aforementioned Republican hypocrisy. Due to my belief that all the Republican-appointed judges and electoral officials and Republican state politicians who rejected these Trumpista claims are not all traitors to the MAGA movement.

There is simply no mathematically possible way that Biden had such an anomalously high, record-breaking turnout, eclipsing both before-and-after Democratic candidates.
Fifteen million voters IS a big thing to lose. But a lot of the eligible voters in the USA don't bother to vote. (And I don't blame them.) According to this chart from this Wikipedia entry, voter turnout in 2020 was about seven percent higher than the 2016 election and four percent higher than the 2024 election.

Why would it have been higher? Trump's response to COVID was fairly disastrous. A lot of people died who didn't have to. His brazen assaults on Muslims and other demographics probably alienated a lot of people. Much of Trump's ravings are fascist in nature. Perhaps US-Americans genuinely alarmed at this unprecedentedly, openly authoritarian racist maniac thought it was their duty to defeat him. They voted for Biden (the senile winner of a rigged primary) who ran on a progressive platform which he subsequently abandoned or allowed others to eviscerate.
But competing claims of election fraud and between Democratic and Republican partisans and so-on reminds me of a book I read years ago: The English Civil War: A people's history, by Diane Purkiss | The Independent | The Independent. In that book Purkis quotes from numerous accounts of people who lived through the civil war. BOTH SIDES had a habit, upon winning a victory, of inflicting terrible cruelties upon both defeated soldiers AND their camp followers (often wives and children of the soldiers). And BOTH SIDES would write self-righteously and hypocritically of the evil of their opponents for their identical behaviour.
Anyway, I'm not going to spend too much time investigating right-wing claims of Democratic Party election shenanigans because so often, in the past, I have found right-wing claims about anything to be stupid garbage.
But here's the part from that "Garden of Knowledge" blogger that made me do a double take:
Supposedly the "conservative" political spectrum has stayed where it always was. The political "center" has shifted far-left because "woke-progressive" radicals have become so extreme!
Now, here's the thing: I have stated many times at this blog why I think the liberal narrative about the Russo-Ukrainian war is rancid nonsense. Because of that I have had to resort to often right-wing writers to get a reality-based understanding of a military conflict that could actually produce a nuclear war and has, regardless, caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
And when these right-wingers start to talk about other stuff, the madness that I remember from them when I used to be interested in debating people becomes evident. T'was at Larry Johnson's "SONAR21" blog that I encountered the demented yammerings of guest-writer Bob Bishop, which provided me with HOURS of entertainment.
I've parted ways with liberals and leftists on a number of topics. But it still seems to me that right-wingers "conservatives" are the most loony-toons side of the demographic. God is real and He works his will through grifter-pervert Donald Trump. Global warming is a hoax. Forest fires in Alberta are caused by eco-terrorists and hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico are the product of the Globalists' weather machines. The Democratic Party USA that pushes corporate-rights "free trade" deals, slashes welfare assistance, coddles Wall Street banksters, the parasites in private health insurance, and the fossil fuels industry, that (under the Kenyan Marxist Barack Obama) deported more people than Donald Trump and saw increased extraction of fossil fuels, is a far-left gang of radical redistributionists.

I've noticed that most people's memories are oddly short. They don't remember what the weather used to be like, and they don't remember what their politics used to be like. Their politics are whatever politics they've been surrounded by for the last couple of years, and they don't notice the drift. So they can sincerely make claims like "My personal politics didn't change, everything just shifted to the left, leaving me on the right" when if you were to make a list of their beliefs and concerns then and now, you'd find quite a lot of very significant difference.
At the same time, there is a way in which it's sort of true. It just has nothing to do with "left" as anyone who knows anything about the history of what the "left" is about would conceive it. When the modern right talk about the "left" they're not talking about economics, like, at all. Their leaders still hate unions, minimum wages and safety regulations but the followers don't. So what they mean when they talk about things shifting "left" is that there has been this gradual reduction in the number of people you're allowed to treat like shit. So like, originally, as a white male, you could treat like shit:
Blacks, hispanics, gays, women, any other non-white people, white males who weren't gay but seemed effeminate, and nobody had ever heard of trans but if they had they would have been in the "bashable" club, people from any non-Protestant religion.
So then the civil rights movement made it harder to treat blacks like shit, but you still kind of could. And then feminism made it harder to treat women like shit. Catholics and Jews got into the "OK religion" club. Gradually gays started fighting back and in many places especially in cities it got hard to treat gays like shit. Nerds started making big money with computers and stuff, so you couldn't even treat THEM like shit. Asians practically stopped even being minorities somewhere in there. And these new "trans" types that seemed like they ought be gays only even more bashable started being off season before you even really understood what they were.
Black Lives Matter started talking about the idea of ACTUALLY not treating blacks like shit, not just theoretically, and #metoo did something similar with women. Basically, the wokes, (in a rather anal way, with all their dozens of complicated classifications) started insisting that EVERYONE, with no exceptions except money-related ones, had to actually be treated equally, including getting access to as good jobs as white men.
So the general trend to the "left" that someone like that is talking about, is the phenomenon that they are gradually being left with NOBODY they're still allowed to look down on and treat like shit. What they're upset about isn't actual leftists, it's people taking away racism and sexism and all that stuff.

They still yammer about the Democrats being "Marxists" and "communists" but it's clear they have no idea at all what those words mean.
Many of these people have been conditioned to respond to symbols, such as the word "Marxist" which supposedly means (in a 21st Century USA) hordes of armed swishy nancy-boys in pink leather dusters arresting the father of the household for forced sodomization for daring to fly the Stars n' Stripes over the family home. (Which will soon be state property and they'll have to share it with former inmates of a Haitian insane asylum.)
But yeah, a lot of it their anger at not being able to treat "others" like shit. (And treating "others" shittily is just a symptom of being afraid of them. "Fight or flight"instinct. Larger amygdala.)
Again though, ... things like "Russiagate" where the entire "centrist" media, the FBI, the Democratic caucus, conspired to convict Trump of "treason" with a fabricated , "trumped-up" charge, was so destructive.
It discredited criticism of Trump and fed into his fans' belief that their hero was really fighting the crooked elites.
