Iran

 

As I understand it, there are some legitimate economic grievances that many Iranians have against their government.  This was also the case in the early days in the protests against Assad in Syria.  But as with Syria, so too with Iran.  USA and Israeli spies soon attached themselves to these protests and used them as a pretext to violently attack the government.  And if you don't think the US government would start killing dozens of protesters if US-Americans started murdering police officers, just look at that country today, when police there go ape-shit when US-Americans peacefully protest police violence.

Iran's government is not nice.  It is highly authoritarian, theocratic, and violent.  Even photo-documenting a protest can get you tortured, raped and killed.  Personally, I think that Iran purposely shot down that Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, precisely because there were many Iranian-CANADIANS on it.  It was a retaliation for Trump's assasination of Iran's Major General Qasem Soleimani.  Iran knew it couldn't kill significant numbers of US-Americans.  So it killed the USA's pipsqueak ally Canada's citizens instead.  The same way that Israel's Pestilence Naziyahoo slaughtered hundreds of his fellow Israelis so that he could blame their deaths on Hamas.  The same way US politicians allow thousands of their fellow citizens to die for lack of money to afford healthcare.

Which is a roundabout way of saying that there is nothing to choose from between the Iranian and the US governments.  Except that the US government is much more of an international menace, with far more blood all over its hands, than Iran.

According to Larry C. Johnson at SONAR21, US cargo planes have been flooding into airbases in the Persian Gulf region since December 1st.

The bloated, stinking, fascist child-molester Donald Trump has pretty much told the world that he'll help Naziyahoo attack Iran again.

Qatar though has said it will not allow attacks on Iran to leave from the Al-Udeid airbase.  I read that somewhere yesterday.  Looking for a link, I see that Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have also said they will not allow attacks on Iran from their airspace.  Because Iran has promised swift retaliation and they saw what Iran did to Israel in the 12-Day War.
