"A Senate page who used last week's throne speech to protest Prime Minister Stephen Harper's agenda has forced a review of Senate security and page hiring, the head of an internal Senate committee said Tuesday."
"I don’t have to tell you what would have happened if she had something else inside her jacket instead of a poster," he [Conservative Senator David Tkachuk] added."
I guess the security review Senator Ripper here seems to be heading will no doubt ask if the parents of potential pages voted Conservative. Conservatives are so trustworthy, after all . . . .
Just yesterday I was thinking of how ridiculous and out-of-proportion this whole thing was, and now it gets moreso.
The harpercons are living by the maxim: "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
I'm so disappointed with my country right now.
