As part of my ongoing campaign of posting any sort of shit that comes to mind just to make a post (because responding to the Conservative Party of Canada's electoral fraud CRIMES are too important for my paltry blogging efforts) I'm just going to talk about Canadian Cynic's failed nemesis Patrick Ross.
Long story short, as part of his personal vendetta against Canadian Cynic, post-pubescent blowhard Patrick Ross typed a bunch of libelous claims about CC using CC's real name. CC sued Ross and Ross, for one reason or another, failed to appear in court and, therefore, a default judgment was made ordering him to pay CC $85,000 in damages and to take down the libelous statements.
Ross, being a typical conservative, decided that instead of accepting the consequences for his actions, refused to take down the statements and went to ground. When he was finally forced to show up in court and account for himself, Ross said all sorts of curious things and also posted on his blog that he was suicidally depressed.
Ross isn't depressed. Ross is still posting his shit-for-brains right-wing drivel and attacking his enemies with his usual boorish intensity. What Ross is genuinely feeling is referred to by the medical community as "Upset." Ross opened his big fat mouth (or typed with his big fat fingers) one stupid thing too many and it's cost him. Ross has dropped his life in a steaming vat of dog-shit and he's dimly aware that it's all his fault. But Ross isn't having any crisis of the soul. The rancid slab of mad-cow would perk up in an instant if a space-alien fairy appeared and paid off all his legal debts. Ross is just a snivelling, whining, self-pitying and stupid sack of shit, refusing to take ownership of his own bad decisions.
Him and Bruce Carson and Michael Sona should get themselves in a circle-jerk about how tough their lives are and leave the rest of us out of their blubbering.

I'll tell you what depresses me is seeing Liberal Supporter over on that idiots blog offering him sympathetic words of support. That belching fuckwad deserves anything BUT the soothing violin of compassion.
He's either playing with his head or he's deciding that with mental illness it's best to err on the side of caution.
But Ross's behaviour reeks of bullshit.
what a kid
I'm amazed at the lack of compassion for the real possibility that Ross is ill. And also surprised that a chorus of people, apparently including you, are suuporters of Canadian Cynic's bullying of friends and foes alike. It's a good bet that Cynic even bullied Jymm to delete his post at Let Freedom Rain on Ross and all the comments that followed.
Calling Ross all the names that Canadian Cynic calls him regularly and which you repeat here is 100% defamatory. They will come up on any Google search done on Ross when he is looking for work. Cynic is doing to Ross exactly what he alleges that Ross did to him. You are now part of it.
And you all want a young undergraduate, whether depressed or not, to work off a debt that exists in part because he lacked the financial resources that Canadian Cynic had in having one of Canada's top law firms represent him in two provinces.
Of course that will never happen because: 1. He has a defense; and 2. He can declare bankruptcy and Cynic will get nothing.
If you do not retract this post you risk being included in the litigation and should that happen it will involve you under your real name.
Sassy,
Nice catch. Here it is, quoted:
"My favourite part of Twitter is that feeling when you've crushed an opponent so badly you just want to jump out of the chair."
That was the so, so depressed Patrick Ross.
A legend in his own fucking idiot mind.
Cynical about Cynic,
I can't have compassion for a possibility. Can you read? I think Ross is full of bullshit. I don't think he's depressed. The gloating that I quoted from his twitter account is evidence enough of that.
Sure, Ross is upset, and he has every reason to be, but he's not showing genuine signs of actual depression. He's using an excuse to weasel out of his obligations. Typical for his ilk.
I'm afraid you'll have to point out where I've "supported" CC's tirades against his fellow progressives.
Calling someone names isn't defamatory. You can look it up. Furthermore, if Ross didn't want his name to show up on google besides all sorts of obnoxious online arguments he shouldn't have been such an obnoxious internet blowhard.
"Cynic is doing to Ross exactly what he alleges that Ross did to him. You are now part of it."
Um, I don't think that the judge ruled in CC's favour because Ross called CC [by his real name] an asshole or a scumbag. He called him a pedophile and a stalker.
Spare me the sob story about Ross the young undergrad. Any idiot should know you don't call someone a pedophile on the internet. Especially after having made a determined effort to discover their true identity and to constantly refer to their real name whilst libeling them. Is Ross an adult or is he a wee lil' baby who can't be held responsible for his actions?
"And you all want a young undergraduate, whether depressed or not, to work off a debt ... Of course that will never happen because: 1. He has a defense;"
Evidently not.
"and 2. He can declare bankruptcy and Cynic will get nothing."
So let him go ahead and declare bankruptcy. It's not as if that's painless and without consequences.
Remember that one? Consequences for one's actions? That's what "conservatives" are always crowing about.
"If you do not retract this post you risk being included in the litigation and should that happen it will involve you under your real name."
What litigation? I "risk" it do I? Just like I "risk" getting hit by an asteroid when I step outside every day?
Who are you anyway? A pseudononymous friend offering me advice? You can't be Patrick Ross, because not even he would be so pathetic as to adopt a pseudonym to try to scare me about a possible frivolous lawsuit.
Cynical about Cynic, google "False Equivalence" & then you have permission to continue posting on this subject.
